Version 2.1 — updated 30 July 2026

In plain termsThis site sets no cookies for advertising, analytics or social networks. There is therefore no banner to accept: there is nothing to accept. The only information kept in your browser is what keeps you signed in.

What we store, and why

When you sign in to your Client Area, the site records a single item in your browser’s local storage:

NameTypePurposeDurationConsent
secufor_userLocal storage (not a cookie)Keeping you signed in and displaying your account : account identifier, username, email address, plan subscribed to and, if you are a subscriber, your licence keyUntil you sign out or clear your browser dataNot required — strictly necessary

This item is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for — staying signed in. On that basis it is exempt from consent under the applicable rules on terminal storage. That is why no banner is shown to you: we have nothing to ask you to accept.

This item stays in your browser and is used for no tracking whatsoever. If you are on a shared computer, sign out : it is erased immediately.

What we do not do

On this site we set:

  • no advertising cookies, and we carry out no targeting or retargeting;
  • no analytics tool (no Google Analytics, nor any equivalent);
  • no social network button or pixel;
  • no profiling and no content personalisation based on your browsing;
  • no cross-device recognition.

Payment: two Stripe cookies, on this site

Paying for a subscription happens on this page, in a form provided by our payment processor Stripe. To display it, your browser loads a script from Stripe, which sets two cookies:

  • __stripe_mid — browser identifier, kept for one year.
  • __stripe_sid — session identifier, kept for thirty minutes.

They serve a single purpose: payment fraud prevention. They let Stripe recognise that one machine is attempting several payments with different cards — the signal of fraud, and protection for the cardholder whose number was stolen.

They are strictly necessary for the service you are requesting: paying. As such they fall under the consent exemption of article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, like the cookie that keeps you signed in. So here too, there is no banner to accept.

These are neither advertising nor analytics cookies. They serve no profiling, and we have no access to them: Stripe alone writes and reads them. Nor do we have access to your card details, which pass through neither this page nor our servers — the form is hosted by Stripe and displayed in an isolated frame.

These two cookies appear only on the order page. No other page of this site loads any Stripe script.

Deleting what is stored

Simply sign out from your Client Area: the item is erased immediately. You may also clear site data from your browser settings, at any time and without telling us.

Your personal data

Processing relating to your account, invoices and licences is described in our data protection notice.

Should this page ever changeThis policy describes the actual state of the site on the date shown. If we were one day to add an analytics tool, or any other tracker that is not strictly necessary, this page would be updated and your consent would be sought beforehand.
